Western Governors is a private, non-profit institution that operates solely online. They offer Bachelor and Masters level degrees and structure their qualification system in such a way that working hard is genuinely rewarded.
For instance, students pay a flat fee every six months, no matter how many assessments they take. This means that acceleration options are wide, as is the chance to dramatically cut the cost of completing a degree – if a student is able to successfully complete their assessments.
Additionally, these assessments have nothing to do with the nuber of credit hours completed or online classroom session attended. Rather, students are able to demonstrate their knowledge via these assessments, to ensure it is competency and not attendance that is rewarded.
Western Governors offer three MBA programs online, in Healthcare Management, IT Management and Business Administration. All of these are designed to be eminently employable – in other words, no fluff. Like all other Western Governors degrees, the MBAs can be completed at a students own pace.
